But youtube is also contributing to it. Actually, every months, youtubers who have activate the monetization of their videos will receive kind of a « paid paper ». It allows brand to target specific potential customer group through youtube channel that they choose to diffuse their advertisings.
But the question is, How does this monetization works ?
It works with advertising but also the number of views, the time people stay watching the video. The more people watch the video entirely the more revenue the youtubers will get. It is all about engagement. The owner of the Youtube Channel must taking care of his subscribers and make them engaged with his channel by making them involved. A subscribers that feel involve in a channel will follow the other videos of that person, he will be more able to to comment and like the video.
It creates new jobs and new agency because those famous youtubers have managers that are from agencies which didn’t exiting before this movement of youtubers and influencers.
Not only positive aspects 
But, It is important to notice that being a content creator on this platform is not very stable. We are not at the shelter of the end of youtube from a day to another. This is what make those who make Youtube their job unsure of their future on the long term.
But as a conclusion, Youtube is an amazing platform that allows to create very creative and innovative content. It allows to meet people all around the world. It creates new careers, it allows to learn about way of live abroad. This is very wide and unlimited of new ideas of content.
